Hi, and a Happy New Year for 2025.
It’s a couple of years since I have posted anything here, thanks for staying with me, and welcome if you are new to the site.
Two exiting (at least for me) bits of news. First I have published a new short story, the Chaplain. You can read it here.

Second, I have completed writing my first novel. This is one of the reasons why I have been quiet. It is a supernatural murder mystery called The Boathouse. I have tried (without any success so far) to interest an agent or publisher, but early days, I’ll keep trying. A teaser for this will follow when I get a minute. If anyone has any connections to publishers then please let me know.
Looking forward, I am sketching out a series of short stories with a common cast of characters (taken from The Boathouse), the first will appear here in the spring.
Finally I am proposing to revamp this website. It never looked quite right to me and I think my web-building skills could now manage something a bit – well – a bit better. Watch this space.
